The Delta-One Structured Products group (DSP) engineers and executes derivative financing products, primarily equity swaps, for clients of the firm. Client structures provide a range of benefits including tax efficiency, optimized risk management, and access to global markets. The majority of the desk’s clients are hedge funds with the balance primarily traditional money managers, asset owners and insurers. The DSP group has trading operations in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and Sao Paulo and marketing teams in NY, London, Hong Kong and San Francisco. In partnership with the swaps traders, the swap marketing team is responsible for the development of the DSP business through the identification and execution of strategic selling and product initiatives.
DSP Marketing - Principal Duties:
• Swaps product expert with deep understanding of the mechanics of the product as well as motivations of trading in swap in markets around the globe
• Act as a primary resource for internal and external clients, answering specific questions about the product, and navigating the business globally to deliver solutions
• Develop client relationships to ensure seamless delivery of the product and maximized market share
• Stay abreast of market and product developments
• Identify and execute initiatives to grow the business
Preferred Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 2-3 years of job related experience
• Understanding of, and interest in, capital markets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem solving and project management
• The ability to work through complicated issues
• The ability to take entrepreneurial initiative
