Using troubleshooting and communication skills, this role ensures technical problems are analyzed, documented, and resolved, creating an outstanding customer experience and enhancing the team's knowledge. This role reports to a Technical Support Manager and the role requires the use of judgment, critical thinking, risk tolerance and independent decision making when managing caseload.
The Technical Support Specialist will convey an urgency to resolve customers’ problems; reflect a positive, friendly and professional disposition during support calls and in writing; and will follow up to ensure that their suggestions are understood and applied by the customer.
Requirements:
• Academic qualification in Information Technology, Computing or related field
• Good administration and troubleshooting knowledge in common Operating Systems (eg. Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux)
• Basic knowledge in Network Connectivity, TCPIP, Windows Server OS
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting installation issues in Windows domain or networking environment
• Industry certification for the relevant IT skills and systems platform will be an advantage
• Customer service experiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent soft skills and ability to engage and assure customer in driving towards customer satisfaction
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills that extend across backgrounds within a global settings
• Proven ability to be flexible and learn quickly in a fast paced environment
• Fluent in French / English
• 3rd language proficiency in German is a plus but not mandatory
