Growth product team
This position will lead creative on the Growth team. The Growth team works primarily on our core marketing & ecommerce website Company website — the public face of Company. The website introduces the Company brand and mission, our international markets and details of all our locations, and is a critical part of Company’s success and continued growth. The team works on web design, content strategy, search engine marketing and iterating on the website, working with the UX team to produce optimal results inline with business needs.
About the role:
You will creatively direct day-to-day design, along with an engineering lead and product lead, working with a team of talented and motivated designers and engineers. You will be expected to assist in mentoring and growing the wider digital design team, with several designers reporting directly into you. You will work with all stakeholders to understand our prospective and current members, and conduct usability evaluations with our users, to recommend world class product solutions based on real-world user feedback.
The person in this role is expected to collaborate deeply with other designers and developers to design compelling product prototypes, polished interfaces, and ready-to-build designs to hand-off to engineering, while leading visual design and final production design as needed.
The person in this role will take a leading responsibility in brainstorming, ideation sessions and design critiques. In these sessions, you will be expected to advocate for the user, and provide guidance on best-in-class design and user experience principles.
You will be one of four Creative Leads in our Digital department. While you all focus on your area of the business, you will also work together to mentor and grow our team, maintain high standards of design, and be ambassadors for digital design within the company.

Responsibilities
• Establish visual creative direction for all products.
• Ship world class interfaces.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, interaction studies, and polished visual interfaces.
• Make decisions on a variety of matters consistent with goals and objectives of group.
• Manages personal duties and areas of responsibility on a day-to-day basis with periodic assistance and direction from others.
• Is able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Assignments range from focused to broad in nature and scope.
• May play significant role in marketing, customer outreach, correspondence, training, and culture building activities.
Technical requirements
• Fluency in best practices for responsive web design.
• Strong knowledge of information architecture.
• Mastery of Sketch.
• Careful attention to details, pixel perfection and visual form.
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping tools, such as InVision.
• Working knowledge of interactive or motion design.
• Experience working with engineers.
• Understanding of the technical development process, or ability to code a plus.
