Overview and Responsibilities
Oversee the ideation, scripting and production of outstanding corporate creative work including video content, sizzles and trailers for high profile B2B presentations and events such as the Upfront, Budget, Toy Fairs, Comic Con, Licensing Show, Consumer Products Partner Summit, etc. Direct the creative on projects supporting all lines of business for Nickelodeon. Position reports to SVP of Nickelodeon Corporate Promotion & Movie Advertising.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the SVP of the Corporate Promotion Team, the Supervising producer, project managers and vendors on assigned projects.
• Inspire producers, associate producers and production assistants, providing performance feedback and staying on top of the Corporate Status report ensuring the SVP is prepared for executive team meetings and video reviews in advance.
• Lead client kickoff meetings for assigned projects you’re producing and provide support to producers on projects you’re supervising and leave with a clear picture of what the client is looking for based strategic questions and responses.
• Take initiative and make sound decisions to ensure the goals of each project are being met according to client creative briefs and kickoff meetings.
• Clearly explain your vision and ensure the vendors are executing properly and hitting on client goals.
• Provide clear direction and feedback to producers in order to get the video cuts into presentation-shape prior to sharing with the SVP, schedule permitting.
• Ensure all creative revisions on projects are executed in a timely manner in order to hit hard deadlines.
• Track all budgets and schedules to avoid overages.
• Write up and pitch innovative creative concepts / structures to the SVP, keeping our sizzles and sales videos fresh and cutting edge.
• Develop custom graphic packages with vendors based on property specific and network brand style guides using the latest technology trends and inspirations.
• Keep in constant communication with project managers so client expectations can be managed on a daily basis.
• When applicable, direct and produce corporate shoots as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Strong creative writer and creative thinker who can bring exciting new ideas and fresh approaches to the corporate work.
• Knowledge of software, including Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects.
• Knowledge of presentation equipment and file specs in order to maximize the quality of the video displays in our corporate meetings and events.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
Additional Qualifications
• Ability to manage production staff and be a good communicator. Must be able to inspire a team and keep creativity flowing while hitting client schedule & budget demands.
• Ability to pitch ideas in executive team meetings and be able to articulate the vision of the execution and influence buy in.
• Ability to recognize if a cut is working or not and how to fix it.
• Ability to direct and produce a shoot in the field/studio when needed.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a pressured and constantly changing environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Sense of humor a must.
