I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Corporate Communications Representative – Social/Digital Mediais a position that supports day-to-day social media management and engagement on behalf of Company Corporation on all platforms. The position also maintains and updates Company’s internet and intranet sites. This role requires a solutions-oriented team member that will be charged with managing the day-to-day content creation, posting and engagement on behalf of Company Corporation. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in writing, a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of creating content, and expertise in social media and websites. The ideal candidate should thrive in a professional environment, and should be interested in promoting the attributes of Company Corporation.
Core Responsibilities:
• Work with the Corporate Communications team and executive leadership to define and implement Company voice and overall content strategy across social platforms and ensure messaging is consistent with goals and direction.
• Maintain and update Company’s internet and intranet sites.
• Oversee and create best-in-class written and visual content that consistently meets high standards of creativity and innovation.
• Strong writing, editing, time management and reporting skills, as well as mastery of all major social media platforms.
• Serve in a leadership role within the Company Social Media Center for Excellence.
• Escalate issues when warranted, manage the platforms (daily messaging/responses/clean up) and responsible for insights reporting.
• Perform other Corporate Communications duties as needed.
Simultaneously, this role will support the vision of Company Corporation and its company-wide goals by contributing to overall brand presence and support the increase and engagement of a variety of key audiences across multiple platforms including sales and marketing, human resources, public relations and communications functions.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelors in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media, digital media, marketing, advertising or public relations. Corporate communications and/or agency experience a plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tumblr, Google+, Vine and YouTube, as well as a familiarity with all other current and emerging digital platforms (including backend insights).
• Experience working with internet and/or intranet sites
• Strong copyediting and writing skills with ability to transition seamlessly between voice and style.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe programs including InDesign and Photoshop.
• Ability to oversee high-quality content rapidly and responsively while multi-tasking several priorities simultaneously.
• High-sensitivity to appropriate usage of language, content and images as it pertains to posting, monitoring and engaging on social platforms.
