As a Core Software Engineer Intern, you'll work directly on the team that provides high-quality, high-performance software that is the backbone of our movie-making process. Our work ranges from open source projects like USD (Universal Scene Description) and OpenSubdiv, to a state-of-the-art evaluation engine that powers our in-house animation software. You'll work as part of the team to enhance our software by adding new features and improving performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in C++ engineering
• Attention to detail and code quality
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, 3D graphics interaction techniques, and 3D applications (Maya, Houdini, Katana)
• Experience with modern GPU and HPC technologies is a plus
ELIGIBILITY:
• Must be at least a junior in college working towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD; Recent grads who are within one year of graduation are also eligible to apply
• Provide a letter of recommendation from a current professor or academic advisor who can speak to your candidacy for the opportunity
• Submit a short personal statement (200 words or less) explaining your interest in software development at Company
• Must be available to work full-time from September 25, 2017 to December 15, 2017
