POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Public Relations will support with editorial press for Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, and Armani Junior brands promoting and maintaining the company image. Will also develop strategic relationships between these brands and the appropriate U.S. publications in print and online media outlets.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains editorial press of women's and menswear collections of Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans and Armani Junior and timepieces as well as all corresponding accessories.
• Communicate daily with all national and regional publications and online media, prioritizing and allocating the various collections in order to maximize editorial coverage.
• Coordinate and facilitate relationships between the house and the U.S. publication's market editors to ensure the correct positioning of the brand within the market.
• Collaborate with Milan and other international press offices to increase efficiency and proper distribution of samples to all prioritized publications.
• Assist the Vice President and Director of Public Relations in coordinating and securing press for special events.
• Assist the VIP team in coordinating the press release and securing distribution and coverage for all celebrities wearing Armani.
• Implement and support annual press strategies for each brand with particular focus on select publications.
• Strategize with various branches of the corporation, including marketing and commercial, to create a unified and defined message for each brand.
• Analyze past and current press rankings on a monthly basis for each brand in order to forecast and strategize for the upcoming season as well as maintain top ranking among competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years experience of related experience preferred
• Computer proficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
• Able to speak effectively in interpersonal situations
• Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, and
organizational abilities
• College degree in related field preferred
