Purpose
Strengthen the reputation of the Company in North America with key internal and external stakeholders through provided communications tactics. Support communication of leadership’s vision to employees, media, analysts, partners and potential partners.
Key Accountabilities
• Collate and develop information on the company’s vision, performance and initiatives for both internal and external communications purposes
• Organize and disseminate weekly Group communications to external stakeholders including media and analysts across North America
• Organize and disseminate daily Group communications to internal employees across NAM office locations through various communications platforms including email, the Company intranet, signage and events
• Partner with key contacts across locations to align internal communications initiatives and maximize employee engagement
• Development of management presentations to communicate vision, performance and programming
• Assess, coordinate and respond to incoming media and employee inquiries
• Maintain media database and functional databases to ensure seamless information flow
• Research and analyze new communications channels and platforms and provide recommendations on expanding and changing current systems
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Strong understanding of the media landscape and how businesses are covered in the news
• Strong verbal communications skills and positive phone presence
• Solid writing and editing skills with particular attention to detail
• Ability to trouble-shoot effectively and problem solve
• Self starter; ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work in fast-paced changing environments
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Experience with Sharepoint, newsweaver or other communications tools highly desired
Qualifications
1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in corporate communications/public relations (internships apply)
2. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
