Responsibilities
The Brand Coordinator supports the Brand Marketing team on the strategy, positioning & messaging of the Sprout brand across all touchpoints. The team utilizes research, insights and strategic thinking to devise marketing strategies that drive continued awareness, engagement and esteem for the Sprout masterbrand. The team also works on show strategies including positioning new shows and series.
The brand team works across all departments of Sprout including Brand Creative, Research, Development, PR/Dommunications, and Ad Sales, and works closely with the Consumer Marketing team in the early stages of campaign development.
The Brand Coordinator will support the Brand Team and lead strategic initiatives including strategy for acquired shows, working with PR/Communications and Research to develop key brand claims, perform competitive and trend analysis and serve as the brand content hub for the larger Sprout team providing assets, updating information and maintaining a centralized Marketing calendar. The Coordinator will establish best practices for working within the Sprout Marketing team and within other teams at Sprout (Legal, Communications) and NBCU (Affiliate, Centralized Marketing Production) to keep all parties informed on the creative and content development of campaigns for series launches, network & brand priorities and any other major initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
• General support on the execution of all Brand Marketing needs
• Key point of contact for strategy and support of acquired series
• Competitive and trend analysis
• Maintain/generate claims and key brand stats
• Maintain the Sprout Marketing calendar
• Serve as the brand asset manager & hub for all materials including:
◦ Brand photography
◦ Series assets (logos, character images, etc.) and materials (bible, scripts, animatics)
◦ Brand assets
• Brand liaison with Affiliate and Sales/Trade teams for asset requests
• Work with Brand Team on oversight of series launch campaigns from greenlight onwards
• Oversee new premium development and ongoing management & fulfillment of premiums delegating day-to-day work to intern(s)
Qualifications/Requirements
Must be skilled in all Microsoft Office tools with solid Powerpoint skill and preferred experience in Photoshop.
Experience in childrens media research is a plus.
