Description
Company is looking for a Coordinator to join the Security Department in its Corporate Office in New York City.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the Corporate Crisis Management Plan, along with assisting in the annual creation and administration of its tabletop exercises
• Manage and operate the Send Word Now emergency communications system
• Serve as the lead administrator of NC4, a real-time incident alerts and intelligence program
• Regularly validate the Corporate Workplace Violence Program, coordinating training for business line managers on an ongoing basis
• In coordination with Global Sourcing, oversee the company wide travel tracker system
• Direct management of the Security ID Center and supervision of the access control system AMAG
• Management of “Watch Lists” of persons not allowed to enter premises
• Provide oversight of the First Aid and Safety Program including training and maintenance of AED and First Aid Kit locations within Headquarters
• Coordinate building-wide Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plan training, keeping fire safety teams up to date across all business units
• Work with Corporate Communications to compose and distribute security related messaging to employees
• Track and catalogue threats and incidents involving employees, talent, and facilities through D3 Security Management
• Prepare international security travel assessments for executives including CEO and family
• Manage operational budget; maintain comprehensive spending report reflecting specifics on monies spent and remaining cash reserves
• Work closely with IT, office staff/management, vendors, and security system integrators toward meeting security system requirements
• Act as primary clearinghouse for Corporate departmental and Business Unit security inquiries and non-emergency requests
• Draft policies and recommendations in support of departmental goal of keeping employees safe
• Vet and implement new programs as needed
• Ensure communication across department staff
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
• 5 years’ of demonstrated relevant experience
• Self-motivated and highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and uniformity
• Must be able to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Office365/SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio), Adobe
• AMAG Technology, Send Word Now, International SOS, NC4 knowledge, D3 Security Management a plus
