As our Director of Strategic Planning for Sourcing & Manufacturing, you'll work closely with senior leadership to direct the strategic business planning process, report on monthly/quarterly results and opportunities, author 1-3+ year strategic plans, and shepherd the development and implementation of prioritized strategic initiatives. You will partner and collaborate cross functionally with senior executives, strategic planners, operations and finance leadership to help advance Company long-term strategic agenda.
In collaboration with other Global Operations Strategic Planning Directors, you will lead and help orchestrate special cross-functional exercises to identify and evaluate critical, strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and catalyze action against these priorities through long-range business planning and performance management.
Doing all this requires a unique individual. You must be a self-starter, flexible thinker and outstanding communicator comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives up to an Executive level. You must possess an ability to see the big picture and connect operational activities to larger business and financial objectives. And you should be able to ‘story-tell’ appropriately in order to provide clarity and simplicity to ambiguous and complex business scenarios. You will need those skills as you work across multiple teams and across multiple functions. Success will depend on your ability to quickly form both professional and personal relationships with colleagues and leveraging those connections to drive to rigorous, well-communicated deliverables.
Key responsibilities:
• Leads the process of defining 3-year strategic plans, and work with business units/functions to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated
• Drives a process in which all gates and dates are clearly understood and results in all corporate planning deliverables being met. Monitor factors that would indicate the need for redirection of strategy
• Assesses with the Sourcing and Manufacturing group the supplier base and develop a long-range sourcing strategy in alignment with business priorities
• Supports projects to advance methods of making to create better-performing products with less waste and shorter development cycles
• Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, service agreements and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.
• Identifies relevant measures and drive accountability for on-going performance against business and strategic objectives by preparing for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Addresses talent planning needs and challenges within area of responsibility or within pipeline to ensure future growth and/or profitability

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in supply chain discipline or related experience
• MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred
• At least 7 years’ of relevant experience in Supply Chain, corporate strategic planning, management consulting, or related fields
• End to end knowledge of supply chain operations and systems with specific experience in Sourcing & Manufacturing
• General management instinct: Ability to lead high profile, complex initiatives and project team, across functions
• Solid presenter and group facilitator. Ability to translate arguments into the language of others. Exceptional listening skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
• Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries, and competitors
• Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Global/International experience preferred
