Our client, a prestigious non-profit organization in Philadelphia is seeking a Dir of Finance/Controller for a new opening in the Finance/Accounting group. Finance Director/Controller
$50-65/hour + 1.5 OT
hybrid work schedule
location: center city Philadelphia
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight of the accounting and finance department
1. Oversight of month end close and financial statements
2. Filing of all tax returns
3. Responsible for the annual budgets and presentation to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
4. Develop and maintain fiscal policies and procedures.
5. Develop/maintain relationships and oversee compliance of all funding sources and financial institutions.
6. Provide financial documentation for grant proposals and perform grant accounting/reporting for state, county and private foundation grants.
7. Work closely with the Executive Director to provide financial analysis and expertise as requested.
8. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in finance related field
- 8+ years relevant accounting experience
- 2 + years supervision and management experience
- non-profit experience a plus
- Strong Excel and ERP systems experience a plus
