Company is seeking a smart, hard-working and analytical Content Coordinator for our programming team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on all aspects of content strategy. The Content Coordinator reports to Company’s Senior Manager of Content Programming and Acquisition and plays a central role within the content licensing organization. Company’s Content coordinator will leverage internal data and market trends to provide Company’s content licensing team with guidance in content selection and sourcing. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Support all programming efforts needed to guide the content acquisition team on content selection and help develop clear strategies around launching new content verticals
• Analyze Company viewership data and industry data to determine viewing trends, patterns and unmet needs of Company’s target audience
• Work closely with Company’s Programming Lead to maintain Company’s Programming Calendar and help determine which content to feature and how content is curated, packaged and presented on the site
• Monitor best practices for content, audience and new product features and communicate them to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field a plus
• Prior experience in journalism or written communication preferred
• Passion for Asian dramas, world cultures, international TV and film
• Ability to manipulate spreadsheets to extract data such as Google Spreadsheets and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to perform rapid cycles of analysis, recommendation and implementation
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize work and execute multiple projects and tasks
• Passion for entertainment and technology with a desire to help shape the evolution of digital media
• Highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is not afraid to push forward new ideas
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Understanding of and/or passion for television and media preferred
• Proficient Mandarin and/or Korean language skills a plus
