What are we looking for?
Egencia is looking for a Consulting Director, Global Delivery Services, Business Unit Manager able to guide our grow our Consulting Business globally according to the company strategy 2x by 2020.
The Consulting Director will play in key role in our transformation journey aiming at:
• Build a fully scalable global operations
• Optimize our delivery practice through standardization and process alignment
• Expand the team in new countries / geographies
• Support our growth plans: revenue and new services development
As our Consulting Director, you will play a vital role in growing our global consulting business ensuring client’s satisfaction and hitting renewal and upselling targets. You will build relationships with the Sales, Account Management, Product & Techno teams and work closely with them.
To sum up, you will drive the Global Delivery of our consulting business both from a day to day management and a transformation perspective to accelerate our growth.
What are your key responsibilities?
• Responsibility for team utilization, recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, competence development, coaching & team building.
• Driving project excellence & profitability on all client engagements meeting client & business requirements and driving revenue & margin to meet targets agreed with senior management.
• Establish excellent working relationships with other departments to ensure business growth, customer retention and internal satisfaction.
• Standardize and align processes and deliverables across all regions
• Develop and adapt the consulting offering to clients’ needs and industry trends
• Communicate internally and externally the consulting strategy of Egencia to reinforce business impact
• Act as an executive sponsor for strategic clients’ relationship globally
This job can be based in Paris, London or Seattle, with good amount of travel (25% estimated)
Desired Skills and Expertise
• Minimum of 8+ years’ relevant industry and leadership experience.
• Proven track record of building a services business, driving & managing utilization, revenue, margin and other key KPIs within a Professional Services organization or within Travel industry (TMC, airlines, hotels)
• Subject matter expertise in one of the following domains: Consulting, Outsourcing, Airline distribution, Hotel distribution, Business Intelligence
• Experienced people manager with direct line management responsibilities, including recruitment, retention, development, performance, coaching
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of management up to C-level.
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment.
• Experience creating and concluding Statements of Work, collaborating and negotiating with sales, legal and customer teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
• Experienced managing and resolving escalations with customers
• Negotiation and diplomacy skills in managing customer and internal issues.
• Excellent analytical skills and high aptitude with ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent oral and written French and English language skills. Proficiency in other languages would be a significant advantage.
