Responsibilities
The Construction Field manager maintains primary responsibility for field coordination between general contractor and all other Owner departments.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Oversees development of contractor’s detailed 3 Week-Look-Ahead schedules on a weekly basis.
• Monitors contractor’s schedule progress and planned vs. actual activities and reports findings to Project Manager daily.
• Monitors schedule progress and suggests recovery actions when necessary.
• Prepares and distributes as appropriate detailed Daily Reports in the Prolog [NoteVault] system.
• Communicates project status daily to supervisor.
• Maintains all change related field paperwork.
• Ensures General Contractor maintains a current set of as-built documents on site.
• Ensures General Contractor maintains all current wet stamped permit drawings on site.
• Ensures the General Contractor maintains all current permits and inspection reports on site.
• Develops and maintains a leadership position on the project site, representing Company in a competent, professional manner at all times.
• Coordinates all activity on the project site for efficiency and serves as liaison to agency inspectors, Company departments and other contractors.
• Keeps knowledgeable about the full project scope.
• Understands each onsite contractor’s work scope.
• Thoroughly reviews and understands all drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Reviews all RFIs and change documents.
• Maintains compliance in all aspects of the project goals.
• Ensures that work put in place is compliant with all requirements.
• Oversees and coordinates with the appropriate Safety Representatives, the implementation of Site Specific Safety plans.
• Maintains awareness of the project budget constraints and endeavors to keep all costs within budget.
• Conducts all work with absolute honesty and integrity.
• Other tasks related to the accomplishment of the project goals and/or as assigned by manager
• Related vocational experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Related experience with some progressive leadership capacity inclusive of working for an owner or as an owner’s representative
• OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR certifications are desired

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint programs, Prolog, Primavera SureTrack, P3/P6
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Theme park or entertainment related project experience highly desirable
• Undergraduate degree in related discipline preferred
• General knowledge of legal aspects of contracting
• Industry specific training such as OSHA 30, competent person training, continuing education desired
• Broad and comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, and practices with ability to use in complex, difficult, and/or unprecedented situations
• Ability to function in high-pressure situations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night/off-hours work
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer
• Correctable vision and hearing
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
