Duties:
This role will assist the Director of Internal Communications with events, communications, and employee programs and will support the internal communications department as a whole.
Primary responsibilities include:
Drafting communications and invitations using a template;
Posting communications within company intranet;
Editing artwork in Photoshop;
Managing long-term, detail-oriented projects such as division meetings, executive events, job shadows, screenings and ad hoc projects; Updating distribution lists; Overseeing budgets; Assisting with awards entries and submissions for CNN worldwide.
This role reports into the Director of Internal Communications in Atlanta and also provides support for the CNN Awards Coordinator in New York and the Senior Director in New York on marketing projects.
Qualifications: Required experience: College degree; Journalism or News experience; Event management or project management experience.
Desirable qualifications: Strong preference for the news and CNN; Familiarity with CNN executives and programming; Strong writing and editing experience is a plus.
