In 2012 TVC Group was acquired by The Company and has begun expanding its digital capabilities and client base around the world.
In support of this we are looking for a Client Services Associate Director to develop and lead the strategic direction and client servicing of the UK PR & Integrated communication accounts. This role is responsible for maintaining and stretching existing client activity and also supporting the introduction of new clients within the sectors.
Accountabilities:
In this role you would be expected to:
• Be responsible for leading and developing organic growth within relevant TVC accounts - demonstrable commerciality is a key attribute
• Sign off plans for multi media campaigns; demonstrating an understanding of global and domestic media and an established network of media contacts as well as multi channel distribution (paid, social, earned and owned)
• Lead key meetings, in response to new opportunities
• Lead the team of Account Director, Senior Account Manager and Account Managers where relevant; achieving required objectives within agreed costs and timeframes; ensuring correct standards for all work is met; and undertaking staff appraisals as directed by Director(s)
• Lead and write proposals and lead pitches for extension of activities with current clients, as well as for the introduction of new business into the division (identifying leads and advise on new business strategy for the sector with sector specific nuances)
• Be responsible for managing client budgets
• Provide a supporting role for Board Director(s) w here relevant
• Approve news releases, feature notes, social media content and photo-call notices plus media reports and longer-copy materials
• Build relationships with key clients and spend time with them outside of client meetings
• Share your expertise and experience with others in the agency via training or coaching
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
• A solid understanding of commerciality within clients and sectors and an understanding of revenue streams and opportunities for growth is essential
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels; with strong verbal communication skills, and ability to write appropriately for differing requirements (including global toolkits, proposals, press releases, case studies, etc)
• A good working knowledge of your clients’ businesses and objectives, plus the broader sectors they work in so you can give true strategic insights in meetings and hold your own with senior clients
• Sound consultancy skills, gained from years of experience but also a confidence in “selling” newer approaches or digital ideas as required
• Strong writing skills which means written work is to a high standard
• Creativity – a willingness to contribute thoughts and ideas to client and new business proposals
• Sound strategic planning skills as demonstrated in the preparation of client and new business proposal
• Excellent client management skills, demonstrate business development and acquisition skills
• Be willing to contribute ideas and time to the management of the agency
• Show strong leadership skills by demonstrating the TVC values at all times
To succeed in this role you will have:
• Good understanding of the media landscape both in UK and globally; across traditional and non-traditional / & digital media channels (earned, owned, paid
• Ability to both work as part of a team as well as manage others effectively within it – with previous experience of managing a team of at least four people
• Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills. Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
• Solid experience of using Microsoft Office programmes (including Excel & PPT), as well as online tools including Prezi, Gorkana, Kantar, RAJAR, Year Ahead, Red Pages, Social Media Library, etc
