The Platforms and Reengineering group focuses on transformational platform strategies to give Financial Advisors (FAs) and their support staff better tools to serve our clients, while facilitating the Firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements. The group drives technology platform strategy and serves as the single point of interface between business and technology for technology project prioritization across Wealth Management.
Within Platforms and Reengineering, the Client Reporting Strategy business team is comprised of members who are committed to supporting and driving the growth and evolution of the Firm’s reporting strategy. This includes the reporting platform that provides the means to create customized client reporting utilizing a variety of data and content as well as integrating key functionality in a consistent manner throughout the rest of the Wealth Management platform.
The Client Reporting Strategy team partners closely with Wealth Management Business, Operations and Technology to develop the requirements that lead to the development and implementation of systems and solutions needed to address a range of complex strategic and tactical business challenges.
Key duties and responsibilities:
As a member of the Asset Taxonomy business team, this individual will be expected to establish strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts; participate and take ownership of strategic and tactical projects; establish implementation and testing plans; be resourceful in order to conduct thorough research and analysis that will guide development of business requirements; capture and evaluate field feedback; and administer field training and communications.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Providing business expertise and support related to Asset Taxonomy.
• Evaluating portfolio analytics to identify opportunities and devise solutions to
enhance current capabilities and ensure integration into the reporting platform.
• Performing ad-hoc analysis supporting requests from Advisors.
• Partnering with the Program Management, Quality Assurance and Operations
teams to lead user acceptance testing and implementation plans to track the
overall progress of projects.
• Supporting the development of business requirements and working closely
with the Technology, Operations and User Experience teams to create
solutions for various projects.
• Assisting in the creation of communications and training programs to
announce and educate the field about upcoming strategic initiatives and
tactical enhancements.
Qualifications
• BS/BA degree required
• 3+ years post-college experience in financial services industry
• Self-starter with exceptional project management skills
• Sound business judgment
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
• Ability to work well with employees across a diverse range of functional groups
• Assume high level of autonomy
• Be very organized and able to meet deadlines in fast paced environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
