Company encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clearance Coordinator.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and respond to standard requests received through the on-line licensing website from individuals seeking information about licensing Disney motion picture and vintage television content for use in outside productions.
• Review and respond to requests received via regular mail and route requests sent to us in error, as appropriate.
• File completed correspondence, fully-executed license agreements and related paperwork.
• Collect and prepare incoming checks for license fees and route them to Cash Control.
• Use internal database to determine rights to our films and to verify other applicable information from all relevant sources.
• Review and process high volume of dub requests from various departments for WDSHE.
• Coordinate with legal specialists to ensure various clips and trailers are cleared for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Ensuring that a content or clip license agreement is in place for the requesting entity.
• Inputting all bonus materials, dub related clips, trailers, tv spots, DMA approved materials, etc. into legal database.
• Assist specialists in research and review for various titles.
• Assist the attorney, live-action and animation directors with miscellaneous clearance projects and other department duties.
Basic Qualifications
• 2 year's work experience in a legal or corporate environment
• Access, Excel, Word and FileMaker Pro proficiency
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented work style
• Be able to work in a fast-past environment
Preferred Education
• Paralegal Certificate from ABA Approved Paralegal Program
Required Education
• 4-year degree
