The Channel Manager, Ad Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ad operations process related to digital media ad operations generally including the functions of tagging, trafficking, and media analytics.
Roles and responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Work closely with Insights/Analytics teams to design the tagging and trafficking structure for each campaign to include URL syntax, site tagging, and measurement plan.
• Execute end-to-end trafficking and QA for digital media campaigns utilizing third party ad serving technology, primarily DoubleClick DCM.
• Assist in the development of dynamic creative optimizations
• Develop Company process related to ad ops functions to include when/how to kick-off the team, any required briefings, integration points with Insights or other departments, and general timelines for various functions (e.g. tagging, trafficking, reporting)
• Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the landscape of digital adserving vendors and offerings. Assess and share knowledge with the Media team and Company clients to help them best choose partners to meet their needs.
• Ensure commitment and execution of Company’s viewability and ad verification standards. Consult with client-specific teams to ensure expectations are customized, defined and communicated with vendors in RFP and vendor orders. Ensure proper stewardship related to ad verification to include monitoring, auditing and make good planning.

Required Skills:
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Paid search experience; Google AdWords certification is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with ad serving and digital media reporting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients as well as within the agency
• Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail
• A passion for and interest in digital and emerging media
• Ability to learn new skills and tools quickly
Required Experience:
• Digital media trafficking
• Digital media reporting/analysis
• Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Sizmek or other adserving tools
