ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Category Buyer is to create seasonal ranges for each market which supports the Company DNA. The Cut & Sew Buyer is accountable for the product selection, management and growth, achieving budgeted sales; and achieving margin and profit across all regions for Womenswear. Working closely with the trend and product team, you will dedicate your experience to the key areas; product development, sales, margins, planning and production.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Ideally you are an experienced Buyer with previous experience in womenswear product development
• You possess previous hands on product development experience, direct OS supplier negotiation skills and are adept at managing OTB with a Planner.
• Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
• A high level of accuracy and a high attention to detail together with ability to multi task and prioritise
• You will have an exceptional eye to identify current market trends and translate them into original forward product that reaches our target market
