We are looking for a Business Marketing Manager who will be responsible for maintaining B2B marketing efforts in the EU covering Benelux, Turkey, our re-seller regions and the central international team. This role will also support Global re-seller partner efforts. (A reseller is a partner of Company that sells our advertising formats in certain markets where we don’t have a direct sales team in place)
You will be an expert in creating compelling narratives and marketing materials, engaging with resellers and agencies through events and programs, and working with the local advertising communities to maintain our position as thought leaders.
Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and maintain persuasive sales tools and programs for Company sales teams in Benelux, Turkey, the central international team, and Company reseller agencies. This role need to ensure all users have access to materials in the right languages. The countries that are part of the EU reseller region are: Portugal, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovakia
• Ensure sales narratives are consistent with the global story, but are adapted to be culturally relevant
• Work with the international team, and the rest of the European business marketing team, to develop materials that tell Company’s pan-European story
• Work with reseller teams to ensure understanding of sales narratives and collect feedback on how to improve the story
• Identify research and data essential to telling our Company story and deliver packaged insights that are educational and compelling to our clients
• Manage the physical manifestation of the Company brand in all marketing and trade activations
• Leverage existing event frameworks being used in other markets, develop and executive culturally relevant activations that educate, inspire, and create evangelists within resellers
• Support any trade PR in conjunction with the PR team, Contents & Insights, and the regional sales leads
• Identify key national and local trade organizations to partner with and act as Company’s liaison
• For Benelux, Turkey and the larger reseller markets work on a plan to have a presence at a handful of key industry events
• Organize an annual seminar for all re-seller partners Globally to attend to share best practices.
• Report back on activities, highlighting insights and success - and document process for further global rollout.
Who you are:
• You have a BA or an equivalent degree
• You have four to five years of experience in the digital media environment, in a similar B2B marketing role
• You know how to work both autonomously, as part of a small nimble team, and cross-functionally with different departments both locally and internationally
• You have deep understanding of the media landscape within the region
• You have the ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills
• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbally
• You like to travel
• Full fluency in English essential; German, Portuguese, Dutch or Polish a plus
