JanSport: Brand Marketing Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, the Brand Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contributing to and supporting JanSport marketing programs from planning to execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project coordinator of seasonal workbooks and sell in tools, including development and production workflow of all aspects from kick-off through edit routing to print production. Partner with creative services, RD&D, sales, marketing, and various outside vendors.
• Manage all product photography. Develop and manage shot lists, approval workflow, delivery and budget.
• Assistant producer on all lifestyle photoshoots. Responsible for production organization and acquisition, preplanning, shot lists, execution and budget.
• Responsible for seasonal product data organization and consistent application to workbook, hangtags and Company website.
• Ownership of asset resource site: responsible for proactively identifying, developing, uploading and keeping current all seasonal and annual Brand assets. Serve as key JanSport contact for all sales, international distributors and accounts.
• Oversee seasonal sample inventory for marketing photoshoot needs including sample ordering and seasonal sample budget.
• Provide direction to Creative Services based on Brand goals, positioning and objectives through development of creative briefs and ongoing project management.
• Travel and participation in product launches, tradeshows, and other travel as needed.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of experience in Brand Management/Marketing preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and years of experience.
• Computer/Software Applications: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Highly motivated and creative self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Consumer brand, retail or Outdoor Industry experience preferred.
• Astute multitasking and organizational skills required to excel in extremely fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Travel required: 15%
