Brand Manager, Jewelry-Detonic

The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Brand Manager in our Jewelry Division, Deconic. This position is located at our Brooklyn offices in Industry City and reports into the Brand Director - Omni Channel and Supply Chain, to help drive brand growth and profitability as well as execution of sales and brand strategies.
Deconic is the jewelry division of Company Group, Inc. which manages a portfolio of prestige brands including Carolee, Alexis Bittar, Lauren, Chaps, ABS by Allen Schwartz and Trina Turk.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Brand Director in maintaining assortment integrity
• Assist in creating on-brand product assortments related to brand vision
• Partner with Brand Director in developing, setting and executing product strategies
• Collaborate with our Licensing, Design, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing and Production to drive brand growth and profitability
• Maintain and continually update and reinforce our brand identity
• Build annual/seasonal financial plans by brand to maximize sales and margin
• Support in creating retail pricing strategies
• Provides business analysis that drives strategy changes
• Participate in communication with the licensor to gather input, share line development direction, and communicate business strategies to the broader organization
• Monitor line development activities to ensure time and action plan is followed
• Assist in driving business volume by partnering with Planning Manager in analyzing current selling information
• Making appropriate adjustments to the business strategy based on selling results.
Skills/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 7-10 years in retail buying, merchandising or brand management role
• Omni Channel experience is a must
• Computer proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP
• Excellent product presentation skills are also necessary for success within the position
• Ability to train, manage and motivate others
• Demonstrate understanding of competitive landscape
