DESCRIPTION:
FRESH 102.7 Radio is seeking part-time Board Operators. Candidates must already be living in the New York area and be available to work overnights, holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for producing all on-air transitions, which includes
running the broadcast board, following station format, arranging
and playing commercials and IDs according to the program and
commercial logs, and following applicable laws and FCC
regulations.
• Assist with listener contests and phone calls.
• Experience with Audio Vault is preferred.
• This position is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in radio preferred; familiarity with station format required. Must be able to perform with little supervision; familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred. Production and remote broadcast experience is a plus. Must be available to work overnights, holidays, and weekends. High school diploma required; college degree in media-related major preferred.
