Our avionics systems are taking off, so we’re looking to board an electrical designer to assist in the design and certification of new avionics systems installations in 14 CRF Part 23/25 aircraft. Our aircraft systems designer will generate wiring diagrams, wire routing schematics and other required type design data needed to support Company STC projects. Must be able to coordinate with project leads, certification leads and installation technicians and develop documentation for new avionics system installations. We are looking for a full-time Aviation Parts and Equipment Coordinator for our world headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating parts programs, tools programs, technical publications programs, and other resources to support aircraft maintenance, modification, and certification. Other essential functions include:
• Maintain parts room for FAA part 145 repair station
• Maintain tool and equipment program for FAA part 145 repair station
• Maintain technical library for FAA part 145 repair station
• Work with OEM’s, dealers, and vendors to acquire parts, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain and/or arrange for maintenance of tools and equipment
• Assist with maintaining FAA part 145 repair station documents
• Schedule and allocate parts and equipment resources to support aircraft projects
• Assist with FAA and company conformity requirements for Company certification efforts
Qualifications
Qualified candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED. Other requirements include:
• 5+ years experience in ordering parts/equipment, stocking and maintaining an inventory.
• 5+ years experience working with end customers, tracking order progress and insuring order requirements are met.
• Proficient with IBM PC and Microsoft Office Products
• Team player who can work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Exceptional organizational skills
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from a four year college or university or above equivalent experience is highly preferred!
