Title: Free People: Associate Web Producer
Reports To: Web Production Manager
Overview: Free People is looking for an adaptable, proactive and highly organized individual to play a key role in the product catalog management for Company website. The Associate Web Producer will work within a content management system (CMS) to maintain various product catalog assets and elements, and ensures timely and accurate product activation to the Company website global websites and iOS app. Additionally, the Associate Web Producer will work closely with the Senior Web Producer for special product activation capsules including catalog and email marketing campaigns.
Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the setup, activation and maintenance of products and their attributes
• Audit all product attributes across Free People’s global websites and iOS app
• Maintain product markdowns via CMS
• Own the product audit process for our external overseas eCommerce marketplace
• Team with the Senior Web Producer for product activation relating to marketing email campaigns, catalogs, and special product launches
• Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve product issues
• Assist in the maintenance of various dynamic merchandising rules
• Partner with the Senior Web Producer and Web Production Manager to organize and execute various tasks and ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of and experience using content management systems preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with product on the website and within CMS
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Strong capacity for multi-tasking, working independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of web merchandising and eCommerce product life-cycle
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Interest in fashion preferred.
