The Associate Web Developer is responsible for building multiple non-complex applications using I-net (inter/intra/extranet) computing architectures. Has principal responsibility for creative programming and related maintenance of the company’s internal and/or external web site components, participating in all phases of the web development cycle. Responsible for managing Web pages and hyperlinks, supporting multimedia content, providing file management of published media, tracking and report usage of technology, and providing general technical support in content, marketing, and editorial areas of internal and external Web environment. Solves problems of limited scope. Recognizes when a decision is needed for a problem and analyzes the situation (makes recommendations).
The Associate Web Developer is responsible for editing existing assets, including various internal and external Web pages. This position is also responsible for email builds and edits, basic video editing, and file uploads. This individual will work to support and assist senior Web Developers. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to solve problems and troubleshoot, project and time management skills, and the ability to work in a high-energy, team-focused environment.
Qualifications
• 4-year degree from an accredited institution in computer science, marketing or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience
• Minimum 5 years WordPress or other related open source content management system experience
• Minimum 3 years mobile development experience for smartphones and tablets
• Experience in HTML5, CSS and JQuery a must
• Basic Video Post-Editing experience
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement strategies
• Familiarity with Version Control a plus
• Project and time management skills with ability to work in high energy, team focused environment
