Responsibilities:
Management Skills
• Motivate, develop and orient staff members while supporting team building elements
• Interface with support teams to ensure Production deadlines are met on a timely basis
• Oversee all Production functions of product area
Communication Skills
• Attend in-season Production and related meetings (PDR)
• Correspond to all inter-department associates and agents/direct vendors on product issues
• Interact with inter-department colleagues from initial concept stages through delivery
• Maintain follow up with l/dip trim, dyelot charts to include current style detail information and that deadlines are being met.
• Relationship building with strategic Agents/Vendors
Production Maintenance Skills
• Review Production reports to insure accuracy and integrity of product maintenance
• Monitor all aspects of Production procedures are followed accordingly
• Collect time and action information to ensure adherence to the Corporate Product Development Calendar
Operational Skills
• Assist in sourcing strategies set by supervisor and department head
• Attend all fit sessions to insure proper measurements are being met and sample corrections are made within the Fit Process guidelines. Maintain and follow up on photo chart status.
• Set and help prepare all details needed for Assortment Meetings
• Monitor all testing procedures on fabric, yarn and finished garments
• Evaluate all department systems to insure consistency and efficiency
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years in a Production capacity in a related field
• Ideal candidate will have experience in sweaters
• Excellent communication, organizational and follow through skills
• Knowledge of time and action calendars
• Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Express
• College Degree Preferred
