Primary Responsibilities:
The Manager, Digital Media will be a key member of the CNE marketing team responsible for paid marketing efforts, including execution of video branded content campaigns. This ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, is detailed oriented, and has experience managing digital paid media campaigns.
As part of the marketing team, the Manager will work with multiple stakeholders across the Company organization, including sales planners, social media editors, video producers, video operations, and finance. This member will also work with our external media partners to ensure successful and accurate campaign launch, delivery, and reporting. Due to the pioneering and involved nature of the marketing team, responsibilities will be many and varied, so the candidate should have strong passion for promoting digital video content through established and emerging digital media platforms.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Launch, manage, and optimize live branded content campaigns across multiple distribution platforms (owned & operated sites, social platforms, YouTube) in accordance with objectives, pacing requirements, and adjustments from sales planning teams.
• Enforce brands to submit branded content request form to confirm accurate campaign goals and parameters from sales planners.
• Ensure that campaign details communicated by the brands match those submitted in AdBook. Communicate to brands any reconciliation needed between request forms and AdBook.
• Enter campaign details from request forms into branded content tracker.
• Launch kick offs for each campaign with internal stakeholders to confirm goals and parameters as well as establish timelines for deliverables across all platforms before launch.
• Populate and maintain media plans and ad deliverable forms used by partners to activate campaigns on distribution platforms. Confirm and communicate correct goals and precise executional tactics between internal sales planners and partners in a timely manner.
• Review AdBook reports when issued and follow up with brands on campaigns in AdBook that do not have campaign requests.
• On a continuous basis, work with media partners to identify, develop, and activate audience targets (e.g. video view custom audiences & lookalikes) to maximize content engagement and cost efficiencies.
• Regularly monitor performance and optimize campaigns to improve efficiency and delivery to goal.
• Identify developing media trends, tactics, and opportunities in digital media.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 2-3 years digital marketing experience at a reputable advertising agency, publisher, or media company.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media.
• Experience in developing, executing, analyzing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns (i.e. paid social, YouTube TrueView, content discovery networks) – knowledge of branded content campaigns a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks from multiple stakeholders.
• Strong background in digital media conversion metrics and results-driven optimization.
• Working knowledge of Facebook Ad Manager, Google AdWords, YouTube Analytics, and Omniture.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Bachelor’s in marketing required or equivalent work experience
