Job Description
Summary:
A minimum of five years’ experience preferred; the Associate Director, Search is responsible for the oversight of assigned client accounts and the direction of associated staff. They work with search directors to strengthen the client relationship and develop new business opportunities within the account.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzes search planning budgets, of assigned accounts, to identify strengths and weaknesses and ensures proper financial allocations for paid search campaigns
• Meets with agency and account teams to provide in-depth strategic recommendations for current and potential clients
• Accompanies search directors to meetings and pitches when new strategies or opportunities are being presented
• When scoped in on specific accounts, reviews client reports to provide additional strategic recommendations
• Establishes current and long term goals and objectives for responsible accounts, subject to approval by the Director and Managing Director
• Manages the overall day to day activity of associated Search Directors and liaises with strategists to ensure key strategies and vision are deployed
• Must understand the tactical implications and processes of recommended strategies
• Oversight of recommendations for division of budget - accounting for media spend, agency fees, tracking fees, etc.
Systems & Tools:
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in economics, mathematics, statistics, marketing, advertising
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Search Manager preferred
• Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
