The Artist & Content Marketing team play a critical role in defining and driving Company’s promotional strategy around new and existing Content. As a part of the Content & Artist Marketing squad you will quickly develop a broad understanding of co-promotion in the music industry. You will help build and shape the marketing strategy across new album releases, individual artists and Company’s original and programmed content.
What you’ll do:
• Shape and oversee the Artist & Content Marketing roadmap, developing new strategies that drive user acquisition and retention
• Drive stakeholder alignment across internal Creator Services, Company Studios, Brand, Social and Analytics teams around the overall Content Marketing roadmap and key initiatives
• Collaborate with the Creator Services team to strategize and prioritize campaigns supporting new artist and album releases, creatively utilizing first party data to achieve company directives
• Collaborate with Company Studios team to develop a holistic promotional strategy for Company’s original and programmed content slate across video and audio products
• Act as key point of contact for Creator Services and Company Studios leadership, collaborating on campaign and audience strategy
• Guide development of performance analyses and reporting; Socialize team performance and strategy to company-wide stakeholders
• Oversee team of campaign managers/specialists, providing strategic lens and direction on execution
• Oversee annual budget across Artist Releases, Original Content and programmed content campaigns; oversee quarterly reforecasting and continual spend analysis
Who you are:
• 10+ years business experience with a digital publisher, agency, or company, ideally in roles that were music content-focused
• You have a thorough understanding of the music industry and its intricacies
• You possess strong communication, writing and leadership skills
• You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and high energy environment and are comfortable with ambiguity
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented
• You are highly pre-emptive, proactive, and always take initiative
• You are proficient at using Google Docs, Excel, and Keynote
