About you:
You are a proven, conceptual art director with Creative Director’s ability to oversee and direct other creative teams. You have a portfolio chock full of kick-ass work as a designer and art director for demanding clients, some in the consumer and entertainment space. You have a strong point of view and the ability to generate creative ideas and promote conceptual thinking among your team. With at least ten years of professional creative experience, you’re an expert in broadcast and digital design, and you know how to make things happen. As great as you are, you’re able to check your ego at the door to do great work with some of the most talented people around.
What you’ll be doing:
• Concept development and execution of the creative from inception through to completion on assigned brands and individual projects
• Partner with Copywriters to develop design solutions that stand against the competition and meet brand strategies
• Manage talent to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and enthusiasm
• Inspire and lead by example, setting professional standards
• Actively train, mentor, and manage junior- and mid-level creatives; proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Liaise with clients, and encourage them to embrace fresh, exciting ideas
• Contribute to new business efforts
Required Skills:
• Advanced experience managing the creative development process in a client-services environment
• Extensive understanding of all creative disciplines including art direction, user experience, copy, and branding
• Ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes and keep work on budget and on schedule
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Relationship builder with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of current trends in digital, broadcast, and print advertising
• Project driver, solid experience in both digital and broadcast production
• Experience working on integrated campaigns
• Ability to direct outside vendors
• Ability to think big picture, while still being detail oriented
