MasteringGeology/Geography is an online tutoring and assessment system for college and university geology and geography. The Mastering platform administers problems with a rich structure of feedback, hints, and sub-problems, and collects extensive data on how students learn as they work through each problem.
Company Education is seeking an individual with a formal educational background in geology and geography, along with at least some experience teaching undergraduate or AP high school geos courses, to assist in the development of content for our sophisticated system. Responsibilities include assisting in selection, training, and support of content writers/vendors, assisting portfolio management teams in the development of content plans, working with portfolio management teams to set standards and guidelines for content, including art, style, and notation, coordinating and tracking all stages of the development schedules, and reviewing content for accuracy, pedagogy, consistency, and overall quality.
The geology/geography content developer will also analyze student interaction data, and then use this data to revise and improve content, help to define, implement, and document pedagogy standards, create content templates for other content providers to follow, help to define product requirements in support of delivering superlative content.

Qualifications
Solid knowledge of university-level Geology/Geography (MS/MA or higher in earth sciences education preferred).
Some experience in teaching at the AP high school level, college undergraduate level, or above.
Ability to communicate clearly and fluently in good English, both written and verbal.
Ability to give clear feedback to authors and other members of the authoring team.
Organization skills and ability to track details.
Computer literacy.
Experience working in a corporate environment a plus!
