Description
Associate Brand Merchandiser Mens FTW
In this key role of Associate Brand Merchandiser Mens FTW at our European headquarters near Amsterdam, you will support the adoption of their Footwear or Apparel & Accessories Brand lines and leading the geo point of view on Best Expressions and Channel segmentation by channel/tier and ensuring they have building blocks for differentiation in their markets. The merchants are across specific product types or category.
You will facilitate communication related to the consumer right assortments (CRAs) by providing tools to all stake holders to ensure a consistent premium brand consumer experience
You will support local pricing decision rights (Geo Merch vs Sales) by providing marketplace and SKA insights and serves on the Geo Brand Leadership Team
Your responsibilities include:
• Align cross-functionally to represent the brand vision and the geo point of view when completing seasonal Marketplace Capacity & Insights
• Brand Merchandising to seek out & serve up marketplace opportunities to Global Merchandising & Key Stakeholders
• Handover geo seasonal strategies and brand modules to Geo Marketplace Merchandising
• Set and align local wholesale and retail pricing
• Drive geo adoption of seasonal strategies and modules to ensure financial plans are met
• Adopts & Adapts Channel / Tier Assortments & Drives Franchise Position
• Kickoff geo product creation
• Provide input to ensure geo / territory forecasts are well-informed
• Consolidate Marketplace Hind sighting & Complete geo hind sighting
• Support allocation strategy by channel / tier, ensuring integrity with DTC and Company website strategy
• Select apparel and footwear Go to Market samples
Qualifications
• 2 years + Experience in apparel, footwear, equipment merchandising / product management role
• Strong product acumen, great with numbers, proficient in leveraging all tools available to drive/inform classification decisions (i.e. sales data, trend reports, product integrity data, consumer insights, etc.)
• Strong communication skills - able to influence at a variety of levels and across functions in a complex matrix
• Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines
• Great presentation skills, experience with presentation to diverse audience
• Team player; positive energy; stress resistance and confidence
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Must have a deep knowledge, understanding and passion for the game of Basketball
• Ability to travel
