The Associate Beauty Editor for Cosmopolitan holds many responsibilities including:   • Pitch creative concepts/storyboards; report; write beauty FOB pages and features   • Edit beauty assistant’s ideas; products call-ins/run-through planning   • Oversee Cosmo/Seventeen beauty assistants jointly, planning in-tandem projects like NYFW, internship program, closet management   • Assign editorial and photo due dates; serve as liaison between beauty department and photo department for product shoots   • Attend market appointments and conduct desksides; report new product trends   • Cover NYFW, interview experts backstage and report on hair, makeup and nail trends   • Call in products for pages; work with art/photo to execute Studio D shoots Requirements: Must have at least 1+ year of full-time beauty editorial experience with a national magazines. This role is not open to May 2016 grads. Very little to no travel required and little to no heavy lifting or other physical demands
