POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee the creation of all brand materials for the Company Brand. Manage designers, seasonal creative, and coordinate brand concept development, while maintaining aesthetic consistency down to the detail level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct the design and on-time creation of all brand materials for Company including in-store, Company-chanel, CRM, print marketing, seasonal campaigns, and branding.
• Partner with Creative Directors to coordinate seasonal concept strategies.
• Create and lead the design implementation of projects incorporating innovative visual design, copy, and brand assets, while being mindful of audience and consumer needs and likes.
• Be resourceful and aware of current trends in retail, media, music, style, and pop culture to create innovative brand campaigns.
• Organize all creative and production work to meet deadlines.
• Maintain archived marketing department creative files.
• Audit organization for brand consistency down to the detail level.
• Partner with merchant teams and cross-functional partners to develop creative solutions for business needs.
• Work closely with the photo studio to ensure visual direction and quality of image including, image cropping and color correction.
• Assist with managing designers, freelance graphic designers, photographers and other artists.
• Core member of Company Brand & Design Team, responsible for achieving all annual corporate goals.
• Additional responsibilities & projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Graphic or Web Design, Marketing, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of Professional Graphic Design / Web Design experience. Web or Retail Experience a plus.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinker with the ability to motivate designers towards innovative visual solutions.
• Portfolio of representative work will be required
• Experience with print media and production
• Extremely proficient in Adobe software
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to manage and work well within a team
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
