Responsibilities:
SUMMARY: The ASM reports to the Stage Manager and is responsible for taking ownership of their assigned area. They should have a complete knowledge of their area, tech and talent and be able to address cast concerns and properly disseminate tech information to the appropriate technical teams. They support the Stage Manager in operating their area and maintain all scheduling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Accountable for the supervision and evaluation of all talent and administrative staff for the assigned venue(s) assuring that all administrative duties are completed in a timely, accurate manner including but not limited to scheduling, payroll, daily flash, overtime summary and other budgetary functions for the assigned venue(s).
•Monitor all performance and backstage areas for quality, safety etc. This includes giving performance notes and checking in with Coordinators regularly.
•Responsible for effectively communicating necessary information which pertains to the operation of the assigned entertainment venue(s), to both upper management and employees of the venue(s).
•Accountable to administer all company policies & procedures as well as handle all employee relations issues pertaining to the assigned venue (s).
•Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Typically supervises entry-level management. Direct report for the cast and coordinators. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
•Peoplesoft coded knowledge, skills and abilities: Safety Procedures; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Windows; Electronic Mail; Excel; Supervision; Filing Records; Planning & Scheduling; Typing; Thinking; Communicate Clearly with Team; Flexibility; Organization skills; Writing.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
•Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
•Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
•Computer knowledge preferred will train (Outlook, Excel, Word, TMS).
Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION:
•High school degree or GED required.
•Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
•Year: Ability to adapt to fast paced working environment, flexible, organized is required.
•1-3 Years Prior theater experience, management experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
•Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) stand, walk, sit, talk or hear; lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
•Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
•Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach with hands and arms.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
