Job Description
MISSION/ROLE:
This position will report to the Director of Digital Merchandise Planning & Allocation, assisting with the development and successful execution of seasonal financial and merchandise strategies, with particular focus on the Outlet section of Company website. The successful candidate will have experience using retail financial measurements to evaluate short-term and long-term impacts of business decisions and possess strong communication skills to partner effectively with cross-functional team members.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Manages weekly/monthly/seasonal sales and inventory reports, providing critical analytical support to the Digital Planning & Buying teams.
• Key owner of purchase order / contract entry and maintenance.
• Build Key Item plans at the style/color level in order to optimize sales and benchmark inventory ownership.
• Partners with Outlet Buyer(s) to ensure strategic pre-season assortment plans by style and category, allowing for proper depth and breadth to support financial targets.
• Assists with in-season planning by recapping business trends, analyzing inventory productivity, monitoring & coordinating pricing/promotional alignment with Store channels, and recommending actions to the Digital team.
• Partner with Buying to build comprehensive assortment plans and align financials targets with product opportunities.
• Partners with all DTC Planners & Allocators to coordinate cross-channel inventory and pricing movements in order to corporately maximize profitability and reduce liabilities.
• Runs ad-hoc analyses at the size/color/style/department-level, as needed, to support business needs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Buying, and/or Allocation
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the company
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Possesses a clear understanding of retail measurements (e.g. sales, weeks of supply, inventory turn, sell thru, etc.) and how to impact them
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
