Job Title: Assistant Marketing Manager (Contract), Careers Services
Location: London
This Assistant Marketing Manager role is a fantastic opportunity to promote our Careers Services in order to support the commercial goals of the Classified sales team, and to a global community of early career scientists. Working in a supportive team-focused environment, you will be involved in preparing and implementing marketing plans from inception to completion.
Purpose of the role:
Implements marketing strategy; analyses results and produces marketing reports; supports the Marketing Manager.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Create and implement marketing and communications plans designed to support the commercial goals of the Classified sales team, including but not limited to Naturejobs, Natureevents, Naturejobs Career Expos.
• Produce materials to support the efforts of the sales teams and bring sales opportunities to market; monitor lead generation.
• Develop advertising campaigns to promote brand awareness.
• Develop marketing campaigns to drive traffic and usage of managed websites.
• Promote Nature jobs content to researcher community.
• Grow registrations to electronic products and services; grow marketing and third-party opt-in lists.
• Create collateral material and giveaways for sales team.
• Prepare analyses of campaign promotion results and other marketing benchmark reports, including web traffic.
• Work closely with global advertising sales teams; Marketing Services; other global marketing teams.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
• University Degree.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing or communications team.
• Professional maturity, able to work in a service orientated environment.
• Personal effectiveness in handling a diverse workload, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Sound knowledge of advertising marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of global marketing trends and techniques and a commitment to developing marketing best practice.
• A proven track record of professional achievements and development.
