As an Assistant Director of Operations – Warehouse and Logistics, you will assist the Director of Operations in the management of the district’s warehouse and logistics platform.
In this role you will:
- Support the Service Center Managers in aligning service center operations and customer service expectations within the district.
- Work in conjunction with the Service Center Managers to improve methods, procedures, and quality in the service centers.
- Make regular service center visits to assure that customer service and related work meets standards; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Make recommendations regarding employee promotions, transfers, salary revisions, adjustments to staffing levels, and succession planning within the service centers.
- Work with the Director, Operations to oversee all warehouse and logistic functions.
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience: prior service center or distribution center management required
- 4 years plus experience preferred
- Four-year degree preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse and logistic practices
- Knowledge of continuous improvement process
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes
- Oral and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively develop service center leadership in delivering efficient, high-quality service
- Frequent travel required
Compensation Details:
The expected rate of pay for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually depending on experience.
