As the Assistant Director, Group Sales and Hospitality, you will assist the department in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to target group sales and hospitality for the University of Houston’s Department of Athletics.
Responsibilities include:
• Promote event attendance and implements strategies to increase revenue.
• Assist in the development and execution of a yearly group ticket sales and solicitation plan for football, men's basketball and baseball in coordination with the Ticket Office Staff.
• Responsible for, but not limited to, the selling of group tickets and tailgate/hospitality packages to corporations and general public to generate additional revenue.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with current and potential clients.
• Represent organization at various networking events in Houston.
• Maintain accurate database records through the use of department CRM program.
• Meet and exceed, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
• Serves as liaison with Houston Athletics Ticket Office.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications include:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality or related discipline and 1 year of work experience.
