We are looking for a Project Leader to join a growing team focused on delivering a data-driven consultative experience to internal business clients. Through consultative engagements, the People Strategy (formerly “Strategic Workforce Planning”) organization quantifies and assesses the supply and demand of talent required to successfully inform and execute business strategy.
The Project Leader will be responsible for managing special workforce planning projects and supporting the team in the execution of full end-to-end workforce planning engagements. The Project Leader must be analytical with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization. Strong project management and consulting skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and support end-to-end special projects for the organization.
• Consult with key Talent and Business stakeholders surrounding workforce challenges
• Critically analyze both the internal and external labor force, including external political, social and economic influences on the workforce
• Identify and propose solutions to solve complex workforce problems and develop, prepare and present these findings through compelling presentations to stakeholders
• Coordinate, prepare for, and lead all conversations and presentations supporting special projects with limited direction.
• Coordinate and direct all resources associated with special projects including business stakeholders, HR partners and business analysts supporting the project.
• Supports SWP team in the execution of full end-to-end workforce planning engagement, including the facilitation of stakeholder meetings, data analysis, and the creation of compelling presentation to communicate key findings. Lead large workstreams of the project with limited direction and coordinates and directs project resources to achieve objectives.
• Mentors, develops and coaches business analysts to support the operational objectives and strategy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a quantitative or statistically oriented discipline: economics, statistics, finance, or industrial/organizational psychology.
• At least 5 years of work experience with 1 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: management consulting, workforce planning, workforce forecasting, human capital research, or developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
• Expert communication and presentation skills; ability to present complex statistical analyses in a clear, impactful manner; experience presenting to all organizational levels
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively balance multiple ongoing projects and priorities.
• Ability to work comfortably in an environment of ambiguity and short timelines.
