TITLE:Assistant Designer, Women's Footwear, CAD
MISSION/ROLE:Assistant Designer, Women's Footwear, CAD will work under the direction of the Senior Design Director to support women's design, product development and merchandising.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• With direction from the Senior Design Director and collaboration with the women's footwear design team, create CADs per categories and by seasons.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including Merchandising and Product Development.
• Ensures the timely completion of revisions and passes to cross functional teams.
• Responsible for seasonal CADs, boards and presentations.
• POV sheets (seasonal point of view) for the cross functional teams.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Footwear/Accessories/Industrial/Graphic Design or related program.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of footwear components and construction.
• Must be able to convey design details to CAD.
• Must have strong knowledge of applications such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS6
• Working knowledge of Macintosh systems, Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
• Strong ability on creating repeat patterns, color corrections and layouts
• Must have strong organization skills, good time management, reliable and a good team player
• Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to detail.
