Illinois State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Director/Facilities and Game Operations. The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Game Operations supervises all aspects of the Event Management & Game Operations staff in addition to the Facilities staff. He/She will also be responsible for overseeing all Athletic-Department facilities.
This position works closely with the Sr. Associate AD/Internal Operations on planning and supervision of existing facility renovations and new facility construction.
This position will serve as primary contact with numerous campus entities on issues pertaining to Intercollegiate Athletics; includes but is not limited to: project management, facilities management, parking, police, and emergency management. This position will oversee the development of game operations policies & procedures and provide approval of any necessary changes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; minimum of three (3) years’ full-time work experience in Athletics;
minimum of two (2) years full-time work experience in Facilities/Operations.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree; five (5) years’ full-time work experience in Athletics; four (4) years’ full-time work experience in Facilities/Operations.
The position is a 12-month position.
