Purpose
To support & elevate the development and execution of still photography and motion content within the Global Brand Design team from concept through production. Ensure the creative vision for global campaigns is fully executed through art buying and as needed photo production. Uphold and advance adidas Global photo direction by resourcing the consummate talent as needed per campaign/initiative. Oversee the acquisition of a centralized Digital Asset Management tool for Global Brand Design and establish protocol, processes and structure within GBD and with external asset requestors to protect valuable creative assets.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with design team to elevate creative POV and photo shoot visual approach for key creative concepts. Including: photographer, videographer, styling, locations, shot list, casting and shoot schedule recommendations.
• Make creative recommendations for applicable Global needs including illustrations, stock imagery, campaign creative and image banks and include in overall photo brief.
• Integral in photographer briefing process and ongoing interface with photographers to communicate specific shoot creative needs.
• Manage large external production teams on an as-need basis, as well as LTD employees when photo shoots need additional internal resources.
• Assist with select process as needed.
• Manage internal and external post production resources such as retouching, color correction
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of adidas brand image/design direction
• Provide photo style recommendations in order to elevate Global photo direction.
• Spearhead the procurement of and the ongoing management of Digital Asset Management tool including relevant files/materials/assets/imagery/renderings/ etc.
• Evolve and manage the photo workflow process and establish incoming asset standards
• Manage and continually develop on-site photo studio including bookings, costs and equipment.
• Manage in-house photographers including best-use practices and schedules.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews with creatives as needed per project.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of photography trends, specific to sporting goods industry
• Strong Experience/Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom & MS Office – Excel & PPT
• Ability to manage projects with multiple external agencies in adidas brand ethos and visual language
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization
• Driven, self motivated and collaborative
• Ability to multi-task and independently problem solve
• Ability to deal with stressful & time sensitive situations
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision-making skills
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree from 4 year college/university or Accredited Design School
2. Experience and understanding of end-to-end Design process
3. Passion for adidas and it’s mission
