Job Summary
Manages external customer projects from initiation through delivery, including planning and budgeting, project control and status reporting. Focus on growth and evangelizing services to customers. Responsible for team management in a matrix environment, and handling all escalations and problem resolutions for the customer. Will insure projects
are on schedule and within budget.
This position typically reports to a Director of Consulting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Drive opportunities for growth within customer portfolios.
• Lead direction for identification, creation and maintenance of repeatable packaged service offerings.
• Review project plans, schedules, and project control tools utilizing standard PM and PSA software. Perform project plan analysis and evaluate risk and mitigation
plans.
• Define project resource plans, including internal and contract resources during proposal and contracting and delivery phases.
• Serve as the project escalation path for project managers. Attend project steering committee meetings and conduct end of project quality reviews.
• Monitor assigned projects portfolios to ensure completion within defined schedule, budget, and quality parameters.
• Help team members establish open, collaborative relationships. Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus across projects. Translate project objectives and vision into
clear goals for the team.
• Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
• Support sales and business development by writing and/or reviewing proposals, writing scopes of work, and developing delivery estimates and resource
requirements for solution. May also add subject matter expertise to sales.
• Review and approve deal review submittals.
• Lead internal special interest groups for assigned customer portfolios. Define and track special interest group goals and objectives and evangelize with internal and
external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of portfolios with sales, product teams, industry strategy and marketing and business development stakeholders.
