Analyst, Sales Operations - Home Entertainment
Overall Summary:
Sales Reporting develops and distributes reports for the United States and Canada, providing Senior Management and internal department’s insights to sales performance. The department analyzes data, builds reports based on business needs and finds opportunities for increased sales performance through improved business processes and implementation of sales business tools.
Sales Operations Analyst Core Responsibilities:
P&L and Scorecard Management: Manage P&L and Scorecard reports to monitor, analyze, and summarize Home Entertainment physical and digital business by account, format, and life cycle. Organize reports into visually appealing presentation and distribute reports internally. Prepare variance analysis of actuals versus budgets and forecasts to enable management to monitor performance and drive strategy for maximum profitability. Create and design scorecards and other financial reports that deliver insightful and timely reporting.
SIP Dashboard: Create and publish monthly Sales Incentive Plan dashboard. Reconcile transactional and financial data to present consolidated view of account financial performance across all lines of business.
Ad Hoc: Create ad hoc scorecards/reports and other financial analyses with large data sets and reasonable amount of guidance for financial and operational management.
Candidate should have knowledge and skills in:
• Candidate must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, be proficient in Business Objects (or similar Data Warehouse application). Experience in Tableau and Alteryx is a plus.
• Strong business analysis and decision making skills.
• Be persistent in obtaining critical information from key sources and proactively communicating it.
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior level leaders via in person presentation and written communication.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and pay close attention to detail, have a strong sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines.
• Must be solution oriented and have the ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Consistently meets or exceeds current job responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to define goals, implements processes and maintain deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and respond to tight deadlines
• Experience with retail landscape, entertainment and/or consumer packaged goods industry
Preferred credentials:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar degree from an accredited university, MBA or related Master’s degree is a plus
• 2+ years working experience in an analytical role within the entertainment/consumer packaged goods industry collaborating with both internal and external sales and management team
