This position will provide administrative support to the VP, TV Licensing while assisting the Sync Shop department with various departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist TV Coordinator with entering all incoming quote requests for TV, TV Promos, Internet TV and Sports into licensing database
• Send video and audio assets to clients as instructed
• Send out music pitches as directed by TV team, along with updating Pitch log and send out daily blasts for confirmed TV airings
• Research rights and restrictions of artists and songs from Sony Music catalog
• Research new shows and maintain TV database
• Create a schedule and track upcoming/cancelled/renewed shows for each television season (Fall, Spring, Summer)
• Manage the 'Now Playing' communication
• Screen and route incoming telephone calls
• Manage departmental office supplies
• Reserve conference rooms; Attend and assist in meetings/events when necessary and appropriate
• Facilitate process for guest arrivals (Security/parking clearance, Visitor pass)
Qualifications:
• 1 year of administrative experience
• Solid understanding of music licensing is preferred
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus while working under stressful and demanding situations
• The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are absolutely required.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems
• Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Internet and typcial office equipment
