Business Unit Summary (Merchandising Unit)
Company’s Merchandising teams are responsible for developing our unique product assortment. Our buying teams partner with world class designers and industry experts to develop Company exclusive products and build their brands. The teams create product and brands to inspire, entertain and engage our customers through assortment selection, product development, pricing, presentation and promotion.
A Day in the Life
The Administrative Assistant to the SVP of Merchandising, Apparel & Accessories, and will provide administrative support to two VP's and serve as the assistant for the entire division as needed.
• Manage and maintain the ever changing calendars of the SVP, VP’s and Buyers (as needed)
• Coordinate heavy travel for SVP and VP’s
• Coordinate with other EA’s and AA’s to book meetings for SVP, VP’s and Buyers
• Maintain department PTO calendar
• Management of department conference rooms schedule
• Complete and process expense reports
• Act as a resource for other Administrative & Executive Assistants
• Demonstrate professional phone and email etiquette skills
• Handle confidential information using judgment and discretion
• Purchase order input and processing
• Receiving and directing visitors
• Data entry for divisional reporting purposes
• Coordinate free lance talent and provide support for divisional style out
• Other general clerical support including but not limited to making copies, faxing, ordering department supplies, file organization

Must Haves
• HS Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of administrative or office management experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as outstanding organizational ability
• Ability to multi task
• Must be a team player and demonstrate relationship building skills
• Ability to work professionally and diplomatically with all levels of management
• Quick learner and self starter
• Personable and friendly attitude
Nice to Haves
• College degree preferred
